My thoughts on the Constitution of the United States

Today I've learned that the Constitution is the law. The Constitution has some very important things in it like getting rid of paying to vote and that you can't be arrested until they have some proof that you should be arrested. The Constitution also says that you can vote for President every 4 years and that everyone over 18 years old can vote. It says that you can't be arrested and put in jail for years without a trial because then you would just lose a whole bunch of your life for nothing if you hadn't done anything wrong. A cop can't just find something that isn't good, they can't just barge in but have to go a judge and tell them that "I think this guy has this thing in his house. Can I go and check?" and if he finds something else, you still can't be arrested.

What I did this weekend.

This weekend contained the best day of my life! I went to a birthday party on saturday, where I got to do a treasure hunt. I had so much fun at Elevens house, as I had a sleepover there. I got to play Peanut butter and jelly, munchkin, and some of Pirates of the great salt lake while eating dinner, then I got to play slamwich, which was a lot of fun. Then, I tried going to bed, but I couldn't because my knee was hurting. Then, I woke up and started talking to eleven, then, at 11 o clock, I started playing Peanut butter and jelly with eleven and zinnia, and I played a PS3 game with eleven and zinnia, until their dad woke up. then, he made us raspberry waffles, which were delicious, and we had milk to drink. Then, I went outside, put some water into a cup, which I then poured into a container. Then I went inside to play on the PS3. Then we went to Christopher's Birthday party.

I beat my brothers and Ian! ha ha ha!

In the first game, I beat all my brothers and Ian! They stink! Ha ha ha! However, in the second game, Ian beat everyone. I had quite a lot of fun playing Time crisis 3 and two crane games. One of them contained stuffed animals, the other contained all sorts of small toys and candy, which was quite easy to win, and I also got a jawbreaker. On the one that had all stuffed animals, however, I didn't win. I can't wait to go back to bowling next week.

11 More Days!!!!

I am so excited to go to Eleven's house for a sleepover because she's my closest and bestest friend and I just want to see her because sometimes I don't get to see her for a whole month. I'm going to bring a flashlight and a whole bunch of books and some games and movies when I go over to her house. I just saw her for her birthday party 2 days ago and I'm going to get to see her again in 11 days for a sleepover the night before my brother Christopher's birthday party. We've been wanting to have a sleepover since forever since we met back in May and now we are finally getting one.

*Mom's note: For the record, I tried to convince him to talk about any of the cool things we learned about during school time today but absolutely nothing compares to his seeing Eleven again.

President Obama's Speech to Students

Today President Obama gave a speech to students about listening. He told us that if you give up on your work you are not just giving up on yourself, you are also giving up on your country. He also told us that if you keep on working you can get better at whatever you are trying to do but if you stop than you'll never get better at it. He talked about if you do stuff that you like and you don't want to stop until you master it, that's good. Michael Jordon was the best basketball player but he got kicked off his high school basketball team because he wasn't as good at the time but he kept practicing and got better.

He told us to think of ways we can do better at getting an education. I am going to focus on listening and not goofing off so much when it's time to work.
